Mind Discovery Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Telehealth Professional Counselor, with active credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). You will engage in regular video conferencing and digital communications with both clients and interdisciplinary team members, ensuring that every participant receives the highest quality of care in a supportive environment.

• Utilize your clinical expertise to conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Engage proactively with program participants, focusing on preventive measures to avoid the need for crisis intervention services.
• Maintain a diligent approach in managing crisis alerts to coordinate with county crisis services effectively.
• Facilitate and document transitions for clients requiring hospital or inpatient services, coordinating with hospital staff to ensure successful discharges.
• Provide therapeutic support through various telehealth modalities, adjusting approaches as necessary to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including case managers and medical staff, to enhance integrated care strategies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and best practices.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges in the Coos Bay community. This includes clients with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and those requiring support in times of crisis. You will work with a diverse population, aiming to provide culturally competent care while advocating for client needs and rights. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate understanding of the unique challenges faced by community members in a remote healthcare setting.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Oregon.
• Strong clinical acumen coupled with the capacity to build trust and rapport with clients through effective communication.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining quality service standards and triaging tasks efficiently.

• Experience in a telehealth or remote counseling environment is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention and multi-disciplinary collaborative care approaches.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate documentation and care coordination.
• Proven track record of working with diverse populations and understanding the socio-economic factors influencing mental health.

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
