This integral role focuses on providing social work assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of students and their families in a remote school setting. The LCSW will be engaging with clients remotely, ensuring accessibility and support during critical times.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing you to effectively provide counseling services from the comfort of your own home while staying connected with your clients and the educational facilities. You will work weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• The LCSW will conduct thorough initial assessments for new clients, determining their strengths, weaknesses, and specific challenges while ensuring all procedural intake documentation is accurately completed.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities suitable for each individual client's needs, tailoring interventions that promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Identify and implement psychological interventions that assist clients in meeting their personal and educational goals, fostering academic and social success.
• Provide individual and/or family counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate understanding and growth within family dynamics.
• Offer vocational, experiential, and family coaching as needed, helping clients explore their strengths and opportunities in different contexts.
• Collaborate actively with educational staff and community resources to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive support for each client.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating the ability to respond rapidly and effectively in high-stress situations, followed by timely and thorough documentation.
• Maintain an open line of communication with families through phone consultations to support ongoing client needs and provide follow-up assistance.
• Keep up-to-date with licensing requirements to ensure compliance and maintain the necessary credentials for practice.
• Regularly share insights with the treatment team regarding patient progress and presentations to adjust care plans accordingly.

This role primarily serves students, families, and school environments, where mental health support can dramatically affect academic and personal development. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and be eligible to practice in the state.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work is required. A Master’s Degree from an accredited school is preferred, providing the foundational knowledge necessary for effective practice.
• At least two years of experience in health care or a related field, demonstrating an understanding of the complexities in clinical social work.
• Proven customer service skills, showcasing the ability to communicate empathically and efficiently with clients and their families.

• A demonstrated proficiency in analytical and problem-solving skills, essential for assessing cases and developing appropriate interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly in roles that involve direct engagement with students and family dynamics.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and the capacity to document services accurately and comprehensively.
• Knowledge of current evidence-based strategies in social work, particularly those applicable to youth and educational environments.

Compensation and Benefits
