Job description

About Limble

At Limble we empower the unsung heroes who support the world. Weโ€™re revolutionizing the way businesses manage their maintenance operations by providing a comprehensive suite of software solutions that empower organizations to optimize asset performance and drive operational excellence. From preventive maintenance to inventory management and beyond, our robust CMMS platform offers a suite of features designed to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer III at Limble, you will partner with the Product team to translate complex customer requests and workflows into reliable, well-designed software. You are one of the most senior engineers on your team: you will lead some of the largest features end to end, mentor other engineers, and set the bar for code quality in your area. Using your passion for writing clean, scalable code, you'll work in React and GraphQL, among other technologies, to design, build, refactor, and harden the systems that power Limble. You put cutting edge AI workflows to use in your every day work and help your teammates do the same. If you are a Full Stack Developer who has been doing this long enough to know what good looks like, loves solving interesting puzzles, and wants to work with a close-knit team that does all but the impossible, then we want to talk to you.

How youโ€™ll make an impact

  • Own design, planning, execution, and testing for large features and initiatives within your team's domain

  • Lead technical discovery and tradeoff decisions on your team, and partner with adjacent teams when work crosses boundaries

  • Deliver well functioning, high quality software while limiting future regressions

  • Consistently deliver work that delights customers

  • Select and execute on methods and techniques that result in low-defect, high-performance software that is easy for the team to maintain and extend

  • Raise the engineering bar through code review, pairing, and mentorship of L1 and L2 engineers

  • Participate in technical interviews and hiring decisions

  • Identify risks and opportunities for improvement in your own and others work, and follow through on the fixes

  • Champion practical AI-assisted development practices on your team

Requirements

  • 6+ years of commercial software development experience

  • 6+ years experience working with web applications

  • Demonstrated track record of leading non-trivial projects from design through delivery

  • Expertise in React and/or GraphQL

  • Passion for writing excellent code

  • Attention to detail and quality

  • Self-starter with a high degree of motivation; ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

  • Strong track record of building, optimizing, and scaling web applications based on feedback from customers and internal teams

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based and web technologies, responsive web design, and user behavior

  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

  • Deep understanding of software design patterns and when not to use them

  • Experience mentoring other engineers

  • Open to on-call rotation

  • Demonstrates fluency with AI tools and workflows, applying them pragmatically to accelerate work while exercising sound judgment about when and how to use them

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing B2B web apps

  • Experience working within the SaaS industry

  • PHP/SQL experience

  • NodeJS/NestJS experience

  • Angular expertise

  • Ability to work well in a highly collaborative, and a rapidly changing environment

  • Proximity to Charlotte, NC metro area

Benefits

  • $135,000 - $200,000 Salary Range

  • Fully remote position

  • Flexible PTO

  • 13 paid company holidays

  • Paid parental leave

  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance

  • Employer paid Basic Life insurance and Short-Term Disability insurance

  • Company contribution match for HSA and 401(k)

  • Flexible Spending Accounts

  • Monthly employee wellness stipend

  • Opportunities for Learning and Development Reimbursement

  • Pet insurance
