Faculty Accompanist / Collaborative Pianistto provide collaborative piano services on a per-assignment, as-needed basis during the Fall Semester 2026. Assignments may include accompanying applied lessons, studio classes, rehearsals, juries, auditions, recitals, musical theater activities, and opera productions. Assignments are made on a semester basis according to departmental needs.
Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree in piano, collaborative piano, accompanying, or a related field; demonstrated experience accompanying vocalists and/or instrumentalists.
Consideration may be given to candidates with strong sight-reading, rehearsal, and ensemble skills; the ability to work effectively with students and faculty; significant professional accompanying experience may be considered in place of the graduate degree.
