Job description

Overview Data Warehouse / PL/SQL / Programmer (Remote). The DAFS Datawarehouse team is looking for an individual to assist in meeting the timeline of the existing PRISM and OMS ReFRAME projects, while supporting agency users with the current production environments. Resource will provide continued support after projects go-live.

Remote 100% Top Skills PL/SQL Data Warehouse Review & Convert Coding Experience gathering business requirements Experience creating technical documentation Responsibilities Prepares detailed design specifications for highly complex and large-scale systems to plan and facilitate system development and programming. Maintains assigned systems, responding to and resolving system problems to ensure systems are continuously available and function properly.

Develop systems employing higher level languages such as 3GLs, 4GLs, enterprise class application development tools, system utilities, and project management tools to prepare systems for implementation. Diagnoses and isolates complex application software problems; formulates and implements effective solutions considering system capacity, limitations, time requirements, and desired results to resolve system problems and prevent reoccurrence. Design and develop subroutines in support of system development efforts to achieve maximum productivity.

Perform difficult, complex, and specialized programming assignments to ensure users and business needs are met. Adapt to switching between multiple priorities while maintaining momentum on current work. Maintain a customer-focused approach when working with other teams and business contacts. Familiar with a shared team development environment, including the ability to perform tasks for all aspects of the SDLC.

Ability to complete work in an Oracle Cloud environment (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI). Knowledge and application of Data Warehouse design and development principles. Understanding Kimball method and how it is applied. Data Warehouse Structure and Application / Star Schema experience. Software testing experience. Data/Business analysis skills needed to gather business requirements and create technical documents.
