Our supportive team environment encourages continuous learning and growth, letting you thrive in your practice.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mindful Bliss Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to determine patient needs and develop customized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Administering therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities tailored to individual client preferences and requirements.
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical records to ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, thereby safeguarding client information.
  • Collaborating on treatment strategies with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the holistic needs of each patient.
  • Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance treatment efficacy and share best practices within the team.
  • Providing educational resources to clients and their families, guiding them through mental health issues, treatment options, and community support available to them.
  • Staying informed on the latest research in mental health and integrating new findings into your therapeutic practices to ensure the highest standard of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. Whether it's helping a young child navigate anxiety, supporting an adolescent through emotional challenges, or providing crisis intervention for adults, your skills in empathy and evidence-based therapy will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience focusing on providing psychotherapy services to diverse populations.
  • Strong competency in several therapeutic approaches with a focus on solution-oriented methods.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills necessary for effective clinical practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating strong professional ethics.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a remote therapy setting and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
  • Background in school-based therapy or working with educational systems is advantageous.
  • Certification in additional therapeutic modalities (e.g., EMDR, play therapy, etc.) is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
