What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Senior Web Platform Engineer to join our UI/UX and CRO team. This individual will serve as the technical foundation of the team, owning our headless CMS architecture, leading complex web migrations, and building the integrations and infrastructure that support all digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep engineering expertise, a strong understanding of modern web development, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative-first marketing environment within a regulated financial services company. They will embrace AI as a core part of their workflow and champion development best practices across the team. We are building toward award-winning web experiences and are looking for people who share that ambition.
The Sr. Web Platform Engineer will own the technical architecture and implementation of our web presence, leading CMS development, complex migrations, and platform integrations. This is a hands-on engineering role that sits at the intersection of marketing and technology, requiring both deep technical skill and the ability to collaborate closely with designers, producers, and stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
CMS Architecture and Development
  • Own the architecture, configuration, and ongoing development of our ContentStack headless CMS, including content modeling, component structure, and publishing workflows
  • Lead technical planning and execution of web migrations, including redirect mapping, pre- and post-launch validation, and coordination with SEO and content stakeholders

Integration and Platform Development
  • Design and maintain REST API integrations, webhooks, and third-party platform connections that support marketing operations and data flows
  • Implement and maintain Google Tag Manager configurations, data layer definitions, and analytics tracking in partnership with the analytics function

Performance and Quality
  • Own Core Web Vitals performance, site speed optimization, and accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across all web properties
  • Establish and enforce development standards, code review practices, and CI/CD pipeline processes for the team

Collaboration and Technical Leadership
  • Partner closely with the UX/UI Designer on design feasibility, Figma handoff, and implementation to ensure accurate and performant delivery of web experiences
  • Delegate and oversee routine production tasks to the Front-End Developer, providing technical guidance and quality review

AI and Innovation
  • Actively incorporate AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and identify opportunities to automate repetitive technical workflows
  • Stay current on emerging web technologies and recommend innovations that improve team output, site performance, or user experience

The Skills You Bring:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React and Next.js for modern web development
  • Deep expertise in headless CMS platforms, specifically ContentStack or comparable platforms such as Contentful or Sanity
  • Strong command of REST API design, webhook integration, and third-party platform connectivity
  • Solid understanding of Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize for Core Web Vitals, site performance, and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager implementation and data layer configuration for analytics tracking
  • Ability to review and provide technical guidance on front-end developer work, including code quality and implementation accuracy
  • Comfortable incorporating AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) to accelerate development and improve code quality
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Node.js back-end experience and familiarity with serverless or edge functions preferred
  • Experience with creative web technologies including scroll-driven animation, CSS custom properties at scale, and performance-optimized visual effects
  • Familiarity with WebGL, Three.js, or GSAP for technically ambitious interactive experiences preferred
  • Demonstrated portfolio of shipped web projects, including live URLs or accessible code repositories
  • Proficiency with Git-based version control in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience working within Agile or sprint-based development workflows
  • Experience working in financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry environment preferred
  • Prior experience with ContentStack specifically, including content modeling and entry editor configuration preferred
  • Familiarity with TradeStation products and the online brokerage ecosystem preferred

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience, with at least 2 years working in a headless CMS environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
