Job description

About the Role

The Expansion Central Ops team is a global sub-function within Delivery Commercial Operations (DCO). We are the "Scale Engine" for the Account Management organization. Our mission is to empower every Account Manager (AM) to maximize their portfolio's growth at scale by ruthlessly eliminating capacity and operational friction, while building the unified tooling infrastructure that enables them to save time and multiply their market impact.

As a Manager in Central Operations, you are the custodian of the AM experience, the architect of their commercial velocity, and a trusted advisor to our business leaders. Your mission is to turn strategic vision into lived reality. You will deploy across fluid, high-priority projects-spanning AI experimentation, tooling, workflow efficiency, and portfolio health-to buy back time and mental bandwidth for our field teams. You aren't just maintaining existing processes; you are building the scalable, intelligent frameworks that allow AMs to spend 70% of their time driving high-value merchant growth.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with commercial leadership to provide high-level visibility into funnel health, program adoption, and capacity metrics, serving as a consultative voice on business-critical growth strategies
  • Own and execute end-to-end global initiatives aimed at optimizing AM productivity, managing capacity allocation, or designing frameworks for portfolio value maximization
  • Deep-dive into complex lifecycle workflows to identify friction points and "shadow work." Design, govern, and scale unified global methodologies (e.g., pipeline hygiene, sales playbooks, handoff protocols) to replace regional fragmentation
  • Collaborate closely with Tech and Product partners to influence tool roadmaps and architect next-generation workspace enhancements. Actively scout and pilot AI-driven automation and agentic workflows to build an intelligent, unified workspace that minimizes clicks-to-action for the field
  • Drive the alignment and rollout of high-stakes, cross-functional programs, acting as the central gatekeeper for feedback and managing user behavior change across diverse global regions

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional work experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Program Management, Commercial Excellence, or Strategic Operations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Advanced proficiency in data manipulation (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets) to diagnose operational bottlenecks and translate funnel metrics into business cases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, negotiate, and influence senior cross-functional partners (Product, Tech, Regional Sales) without direct authority to achieve a shared goal
  • Proven track record of managing complex, end-to-end global or regional projects, including milestone mapping, risk mitigation, and tracking progress against business-critical KPIs
  • A strong interest or practical experience in leveraging generative AI, automation tools, or low-code environments to optimize operational workflows
  • Experience operating within a central strategy or global operations team, with a demonstrated ability to build high-impact structures and processes entirely from scratch
  • Direct experience with Customer Success platforms (like Gainsight) or CRM workflows (Salesforce), and an understanding of how system UI/UX impacts sales rep behavior
  • A proven playbook for leading large-scale system migrations, behavioral rollouts, or operational handoffs across multi-regional field teams
  • A strategic, process-first thinker who builds sustainable, long-term operational frameworks rather than just putting out immediate tactical fires
