Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Terraform, and DevOps automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud-native network security solutions, building Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks, and supporting CI/CD automation in enterprise cloud environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform security services, Terraform module development, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, and cloud security operations in fast-paced Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Security

  • Design and implement cloud-native network security controls in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Configure and manage:
    • Google Cloud Platform VPC Service Controls (VPC-SC)
    • Google Cloud Platform Cloud Armor (DDoS/WAF)
    • Google Cloud Platform NGFW Enterprise with IPS/IDS
    • Zscaler Cloud Connector
  • Monitor and improve cloud security posture and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot networking, connectivity, and security policy issues.
  • Participate in incident response and risk assessment activities.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Develop and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure-as-Code modules.
  • Create reusable Terraform modules and enterprise state management solutions.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and policy deployment.

DevOps & Automation

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using:
    • Azure DevOps Pipelines
    • GitHub Actions
  • Automate deployments and operational workflows.
  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Participate in Agile development and sprint activities.

Documentation & Support

  • Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, and runbooks.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for operational teams.
  • Support operational readiness and production stability.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform cloud security services.
  • Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
  • Experience with:
    • Azure DevOps Pipelines
    • GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and security best practices.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory (by birth or naturalization).

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or Cloud Security Engineer.
