Commercial University New Hires will join the Phillips 66 Trader Development Program following an onboarding to Phillips 66 as part of the KATALYST program.

The Phillips 66 Trader Development Program is a competitive, learning journey designed for individuals who aspire to build a trading career at Phillips 66.  We are seeking strategic thinkers with a strong interest in global markets and energy.  Candidates should be analytical with a desire to learn and perform under pressure.  They should be team players with high level verbal and written communication skills.  Members of the Trader Development Program will be given the opportunity to participate in structured training, formal mentorship and hands-on experience to set the stage for a successful career in energy trading

Members of the Phillips 66 Trader Development Program will participate in an on-boarding program, KATALYST.  KATALYST is a premier industry-leading energy commodity supply and trading on-boarding program for market-savvy university hires joining various Phillips 66 business units including Commercial.  As part of KATALYST, you will experience  a brief but dynamic immersion to the Phillips 66 energy value chain while building relationships that will cultivate a fulfilling career. The KATALYST curriculum focuses on our key businesses and markets, and includes: off-site learnings, case studies, discussions and presentations with subject matter experts, focused analysis assignments, and networking opportunities with leaders.
