Global Technology Partner (GTP) Hybrid Client Partner

We are looking for a Global Technology Partner (GTP) Hybrid Client Partner to support a Global Client Manager and uncover new opportunities in their book of accounts. This position will be responsible for uncovering new opportunities within segment initiatives to sell customers on the benefits of a full suite of Lenovo products and services and doing so against competition.

You will represent the product portfolio for both Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) and Data Center Group (DCG) businesses. IDG at Lenovo is the home of our PC and Smart Devices products and we combine investment in high growth segments with new innovation in Smart Device categories across AR/VR, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Security and As-a-Service solutions. Key PC and devices products are the ThinkPad, Yoga, and Legion, and our key augmented and virtual reality products are Mirage and ThinkReality. DCG is innovating the future-defined datacenter, today, ensuring that working with Lenovo across all types of workloads, servers, storage, networking and devices, helps maximize each environment's potential. Key DCG solutions are our ThinkSystem and ThinkAgile.

The ideal GTP Client Partner is goal-oriented, possesses excellent phone and customer-facing skills, and has an outgoing personality. This position will require strong verbal and written communication skills across global functions and requires a sense of direction, communicating with clarity and tact.

This position has EST working hours and is remote. Key meetings may be at off-hours. Occasional traveling may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist in implementing the sales strategy within your accounts, driving revenue growth across Lenovo's IDG and DCG portfolio.
  • Support Global Client Manager Achieve and ensure alignment on quota, profit, and revenue objectives.
  • Ensure products, services and solutions recommended to customers will fulfill their needs.
  • Drive new sales to closure and ensure strong handoff.
  • Prospect through digital and traditional methods cold calling, email campaigns, Vidyard, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Utilize project management tools and MS Dynamics to organize and manage Sales Activity and Pipeline across quarters.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor within IDG and DCG for customers, partners and internal teams.
  • Develop and cultivate partnerships internally and externally.
  • Operate and make clear decisions based upon data and seek insights from others.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency and strong sense of priority.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Experience working in Outside Sales in the Consumer Electronics, Technology, or IT Industry.
  • Associate's Degree or above.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Experience working in Outside or Inside Sales.
  • Experience selling hardware or related hardware services.
  • Excitement for cold calling and detailed oriented note-taker.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating new deals.
  • Strong understanding of channel programs.
  • Experience presenting to Executives and high level business stakeholders.
  • Willingness to recognize team members across dotted lines for their support.
  • Ability to penetrate, acquire and transition opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills ensuring clear alignment on a clear plan.
  • Experience with RFP processes desired.

The base salary range budgeted for this position is 85-93k. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions.
