.NET Developer (GIS) – USDA Experience Required

Location: Remote (U.S.)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $118,000/year
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen (USC) Only (No Green Card, H4 EAD, or other work authorizations.)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with a strong background supporting USDA Federal programs and GIS applications. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining enterprise web applications using Microsoft technologies while working in a federal environment.

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen (USC) required
  • Prior USDA project experience is mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC/Web API
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with Git/Azure DevOps
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
GIS Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS
  • Experience developing GIS-enabled applications
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, or ArcGIS Online
  • Experience with spatial data and geospatial web services
  • Familiarity with GIS APIs and mapping frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting USDA NRCS, FSA, APHIS, FSIS, or other USDA agencies
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments
  • Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Public Trust or prior Federal clearance is a plus
