Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmentally appropriate screenings for mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, followed by appropriate referrals to additional resources as necessary.
  • Develop and manage a caseload of students requiring ongoing support, providing brief interventions aligned with best practices in behavioral health.
  • Utilize electronic medical records to document patient encounters within 48 hours, maintaining accurate, timely, and informative health records.
  • Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, family members, and other health professionals to promote coordinated care.
  • Participate in regular supervision, case conferences, and departmental meetings to enhance service quality and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Actively refer students to psychiatric consultations when required, ensuring comprehensive mental health care.
  • Return communication promptly with patients, families, and other stakeholders concerning appointments and concerns, demonstrating a commitment to responsive care.
  • Identify, connect, and support students in accessing diverse community resources that align with their personal goals and interests.
  • Perform additional duties as required to promote effective, quality healthcare services.

Qualifications
