Cyber Training Specialist, Senior
The Opportunity:
Provide SME support to the management of a DoD-wide training program, including coordinating with Combatant Commands to ensure USCYBERCOM-assigned forces are trained, certified, and interoperable with other Joint Forces. Establish and maintain training and certification standards for the clients enabling USCYBERCOM operations. Assess the effectiveness of training to ensure training meets objectives, reinforces Joint standards, and facilitates the readiness assessment of cyberspace forces. Facilitate large working groups with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish and update baseline cyber training standards. Interpret and provide recommendations to senior leaders on national and higher headquarters joint doctrine, instructions, and directives pertaining to the Joint Training System (JTS). Assist with the coordination and development of tasks, task lists, and assess USCYBERCOM's ability to meet the task list standards.
You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations
  • 4+ years of experience with training, including training standards and developing training pipelines
  • 3+ years of experience working for or supporting a COCOM, Joint Force command, Joint Duty Assignment, or CMF team
  • 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining Job Qualification Standards (JQS)
  • Experience supporting data gathering using various techniques, including working groups, interviews, and surveys
  • Experience interacting with and providing briefs to senior leaders
  • Experience facilitating conferences and large working groups
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office tool suite
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of cyberspace capabilities, equities, available infrastructure, or platforms
  • Ability to work independently and with groups
  • Possession of excellent data analysis skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
