Job description

Aurora Geosciences (Aurora) is geosciences consulting company that has been operating for over 45 years in Northern Canada. Offices are located in Whitehorse and Yellowknife.

Role Description

This is a remote Geologist role with Aurora Geosciences.  The Geologist will be responsible for conducting fieldwork, performing geological mapping, soil sampling and logging core on various drill programs. Job activities will require a high level of collaboration with project teams and may include data interpretation to inform project decisions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Core Logging and Drilling operations
  • Ability to manage and coordinate field operations in diverse environments
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities
  • Relevant educational background in Geosciences, Geology, or related fields
  • Experience in remote locations or self-supported camps is a plus
