What is a remote gaming?

A Remote Gaming job involves working in the gaming industry from a remote location, rather than a physical office. Roles can include game development, customer support, live gaming operations, game testing, and streaming. These jobs are common in online casinos, video game companies, and esports organizations. Remote gaming professionals use digital tools to collaborate with teams and engage with players. This allows for flexibility while contributing to the gaming industry from anywhere with an internet connection.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the remote gaming position, and why are they important?

To thrive in a Remote Gaming role, candidates typically need strong knowledge of gaming platforms, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues. Familiarity with game streaming software, customer support systems, and experience with helpdesk platforms are common requirements, and some positions may value industry certifications or experience with specific game titles. Standout candidates demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, patience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced virtual environment. These abilities are crucial for delivering high-quality user experiences, resolving issues quickly, and supporting both players and development teams remotely.

What are the typical work environment and daily responsibilities for someone in a remote gaming position?

Remote Gaming positions often involve working from home or another remote location, using reliable high-speed internet and professional equipment to interact with players or test new gaming functionalities. Daily responsibilities can include providing technical support to users, testing and reporting on gameplay issues, assisting with community management, and collaborating with development teams to enhance the player experience. Communication is generally handled through chat, video calls, and project management tools. You’ll often work with a distributed team and may have flexible hours depending on the company’s structure. This environment encourages independence and self-motivation while offering plenty of opportunities to grow your skills within the gaming industry.

The Outbound Marketing Manager is responsible for owning and executing the outbound motion from the ground up, mostly through Outreach.io. This role runs end-to-end processes, thinks critically, diagnoses issues, all while being aligned with sales. The role will ensure that outbound is a trusted, sales-adopted engine for pipeline creation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end outbound strategy: sequence design, messaging, targeting, and cadence across all GTM motions (new logo, cross-sell, competitive displacement, etc)
  • Sales adoption and trust: build the direct relationship with SDR and RSM/AE leadership needed to ensure sequences are actually used; that they’re regularly updated and used for the right audiences; treat sales feedback as a design input
  • Tooling ownership: manage the Outreach platform and associated contractor resources, ensuring sequences are technically sound, are pointed at the right audiences and easy for reps to execute
  • Sales and marketing alignment process: build a formal intake and feedback loop so sequences are co-designed with sales before launch, not handed off after the fact
  • Performance and iteration: track sequence performance (open, reply, engagement, meeting-booked rates) and continuously refine based on what\'s actually working in the field
  • Cross-functional partnership: work closely with PMM on messaging accuracy and with DGMs on campaign timing so outbound supports, not duplicates, broader demand programs, and sales on execution and measurement
  • Playbook development: build complete, usable playbooks by role and motion, replacing the empty shells that exist today

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • Proven track record getting sales teams to adopt and execute marketing-built sequences
  • Strong relationship-building instincts with sales leadership; comfortable being in the room with SDR managers and AEs regularly
  • Experience diagnosing and fixing broken sales-marketing handoffs, not just building net-new programs
  • Sharp messaging instincts
  • Data-driven: comfortable analyzing sequence performance and making the case for what to kill, keep, or change

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
  • 4+ years in outbound or sales development marketing, with direct experience managing tools like Outreach, Salesloft, or similar
  • B2B SaaS or MSP/channel experience a strong plus

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location
  • 10-20% travel may be required
