Become a Key Player as a Software Engineer 2

You will ensure product quality by designing and executing tests that align with product specifications and release goals. You will work closely with development and cross-functional teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects, helping the team deliver reliable web and media experiences. This role contributes to QA automation, test frameworks, and ongoing improvements to the test life cycle.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Design, write, and maintain test specifications and automated test scripts
  • Apply testing methodologies across the test and bug life cycles to validate features
  • Use testing tools to execute tests, log defects, and verify fixes
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot issues
  • Contribute to development and improvement of test automation frameworks and systems
  • Work within a Scrum/Agile team and coordinate with remote team members when needed
  • Use scripting languages (HTML, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Shell) to support automation and testing tasks
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance and automation
  • Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; BE or Diploma in Animation noted
  • Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, methodologies, and the test life cycle
  • Experience writing and maintaining test specs and automated test scripts
  • Hands-on experience with scripting/programming languages (Java, ActionScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar)
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and building test automation frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
  • Good problem-solving, diagnostic, and time-management skills

  • Experience with animation authoring tools (Flash/Animate) or ACE certification
  • Prior experience troubleshooting complex web/media applications
