What You'll Do
As a Field Service Technician at Lantech, you'll combine technical skill with customer interaction while working both in the field and at our facility.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Support customers across the United States through on-site service and support
  • Perform equipment start-ups, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Coordinate information between customers and internal Lantech teams to resolve issues
  • Provide technical phone support when not traveling
  • Perform quality control inspections of equipment prior to shipment
  • Travel up to 75%, with a comprehensive up to 6-month training program based in Louisville, KY
What We're Looking For
This role does not require that you live in the Louisville, KY area. We're seeking a self-motivated, customer-focused technician who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys hands-on problem solving.
You're a great fit if you:
  • Have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Are a self-starter comfortable working independently and with customers
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Are team-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
  • Have experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical industrial equipment
  • Have experience with PLC logic development and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrate proficiency with basic computer applications
  • Are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Education & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in field service or equipment maintenance in a related industry
  • Experience reading mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics preferred
  • Experience with packaging equipment strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical schooling in electricity, electronics, or equipment maintenance (2+ years) preferred
