A Remote Game Producer oversees the development of video games while working remotely, coordinating teams across different locations. They manage project timelines, budgets, and communication between departments to ensure the game is completed on time and within scope. They also work with designers, developers, and marketers to align the game's vision with business goals. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
To thrive as a Remote Game Producer, you need strong project management abilities, game development knowledge, and experience with production pipelines, often supported by a degree in game design, computer science, or a related field. Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana, as well as familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine, is highly valued. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are crucial for remote coordination and team motivation. These competencies ensure that complex, distributed teams stay aligned and deliver high-quality games on schedule.
Remote Game Producers often face challenges such as coordinating across different time zones, managing communication barriers, and keeping teams engaged without in-person interaction. Overcoming these obstacles requires clear and frequent communication, the effective use of collaboration tools like Slack or Zoom, and a proactive approach to project tracking. Successful producers also foster team cohesion by organizing virtual meetings, establishing clear milestones, and encouraging transparency. By actively addressing these challenges, Remote Game Producers can help ensure smooth production workflows and maintain a motivated, connected team.

About PM StudiosPM Studios is a globally recognized video game developer and publisher founded in 2008. For over a decade, we've delivered technical, design, and artistic leadership across the gaming industry, producing iconic titles that have resonated with generations of players worldwide.
At PM Studios, people come first. We hire exceptional talent and empower them with the tools, autonomy, and support needed to do their best work. Our culture is rooted in integrity, innovation, and action—we believe in giving before we receive and transforming inspiration into meaningful impact.
As we continue to grow and expand our portfolio, we are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Controller to join our Las Vegas team.
About the Role
As PM Studios continues to scale its portfolio of games and publishing partnerships, we are looking for a Controller who is as comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment as they are in the details of a balance sheet. This is a foundational finance role for someone who wants to help build something — not just maintain it. Candidates must be comfortable working in an environment where systems, documentation, and processes are still evolving and require refinement and structure.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the full accounting function across our portfolio of gaming and entertainment entities. You'll be the financial backbone of the organization, partnering closely with development, publishing, and operations teams to bring financial clarity to a business that moves at the speed of the games industry. If you've ever wanted to be the person who helps a creative company grow up financially without losing its edge, this is that role.
This is not a maintenance accounting role. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable accounting processes, strengthening controls, improving historical record keeping, and helping establish the finance infrastructure needed to support future growth.
