About The Role:

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Revenue Operations to help lead and scale Directive’s Revenue Operations practice. This is a senior, client-facing player-coach role for someone who combines strong people leadership with deep technical expertise across Salesforce, marketing automation, and HubSpot.

You’ll partner closely with the Director of Revenue Operations to lead a team of RevOps Strategists, oversee complex client engagements, and ensure we consistently deliver high-quality strategic and technical work. You’ll also remain hands-on, stepping into client environments to guide architecture, troubleshoot complex issues, conduct audits, and support implementations when deeper expertise is required.

The right person is equally comfortable leading a team, presenting recommendations to senior client stakeholders, and getting into the details of a Salesforce or marketing automation environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Revenue Operations Solution Engineers, including workload management, prioritization, coaching, and performance support.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client and technical challenges.

  • Own or oversee strategic client relationships, ensuring strong communication, delivery quality, and client satisfaction.

  • Lead and support Salesforce, HubSpot, and marketing automation audits, implementations, integrations, and optimization projects.

  • Provide hands-on expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, and HubSpot Marketing Hub.

  • Design and advise on lifecycle architecture, lead management, routing, automation, CRM/MAP integrations, attribution, reporting, and data governance.

  • Translate complex technical findings into clear recommendations for executive and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Review strategist work for technical accuracy and strategic quality before client delivery.

  • Partner with Account Directors and internal leadership to identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Support scoping, solution design, and new business conversations for RevOps opportunities.

  • Help develop repeatable processes, documentation, playbooks, and technical standards as the Revenue Operations practice scales.

  • Maintain visibility into project health, capacity, utilization, and delivery risks across the team.

What You’ll Bring:

Must Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, CRM consulting, marketing automation, or a related discipline.

  • 1–2+ years of direct people management or formal team leadership experience.

  • Active Salesforce Administrator Certification.

  • Strong hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud administration and implementation experience.

  • Deep experience with Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot:

    • Pardot/Account Engagement certification strongly preferred; or

    • At least 2–3 years of hands-on Pardot implementation and administration experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, including automation, lifecycle management, data architecture, integrations, and reporting.

  • Experience leading complex CRM and marketing automation implementations, audits, migrations, or optimization initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, lead routing, attribution, CRM/MAP integrations, automation, and data governance.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior-level client conversations and translate technical issues into business recommendations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to confidently manage client expectations and difficult conversations.

  • Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical execution.

Preferred

  • Previous agency experience strongly preferred; consulting or professional services experience is also highly relevant.

  • Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot certification.

  • Additional Salesforce certifications.

  • HubSpot certifications.

  • Experience working across both Salesforce and HubSpot environments for B2B organizations.

  • Experience scoping projects, supporting sales conversations, and identifying account expansion opportunities.

  • Experience working across multiple concurrent client engagements.

Work Environment Requirements

As a remote-first company, you’ll have the ability to work from your home office. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), and Slack.
