What is remote game development?

Remote game development refers to the process of creating video games while working from a location outside of a traditional office environment, often from home or any place with internet access. Teams collaborate using online tools for coding, design, art, and communication, allowing for flexible work arrangements. Remote game development has become increasingly popular as technology enables seamless collaboration across different locations, time zones, and even countries. This setup can help studios access a wider talent pool and support better work-life balance for developers.

What are some common challenges faced by remote game developers and how can they be addressed?

Remote game developers often encounter challenges such as coordinating across time zones, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring version control of shared assets. To overcome these, teams frequently use collaboration tools like Slack, project management platforms, and version control systems such as Git. Regular virtual meetings and clear documentation are also essential to keep everyone aligned and productive. Proactively addressing these challenges helps maintain a cohesive workflow and fosters a positive remote team environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Game Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Game Developer, a solid background in computer science, game design principles, and programming languages such as C++, C#, or JavaScript is essential, often supported by a relevant degree or portfolio. Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, version control systems (e.g., Git), and sometimes certifications in game development tools are typically required. Strong communication, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities help remote developers collaborate effectively and manage their time independently. These skills ensure seamless project delivery, innovation, and high-quality gameplay experiences in a distributed work environment.

Job Description

In our world, โ€œhigh ticketโ€ is anything with a price point of about $10k or above. We firmly believe that some of the most talented sales professionals in the world are underpaid because theyโ€™re in the wrong vehicle selling the wrong product. We take pride in seeking out top talent, developing

them further, and enabling them to reach new levels of earning potential through high ticket sales with WFS Group. With our world class marketing systems we are constantly bringing new leads into our ecosystem, however our biggest bottleneck to scaling is generating more sales appointments from all of these leads that have already shown interest in our products, which is where you come in! When it comes to outbound dialing, there are two main buckets: cold calling, and warm dialing, which comes down to one main distinction: Warm dialing consists of only calling leads that have specifically opted in to our marketing campaigns and have expressed interest in learning more about our offers. We are looking for motivated sales development representatives or โ€œsettersโ€ that are willing to make a ton of warm dials to consistently generate qualified sales appointments and new pipeline that leads to more revenue for WFS Group.

Base Pay with Competitive Commission Structure & Earning Potential! Selling Life Changing Products!

Endless Warm Leads to Dial from Word Class Marketing!

Fast Sales Career Advancement

A Snapshot of WFS Group:

WFS Group is a fast paced, high performance sales agency that provides what is referred to as โ€œdone for you salesโ€ services to our clients. Think of a lead generation based marketing agencyโ€ฆ. But focused on sales. Put simply, our clients outsource their sales department to us and we sell their services/packages to help them scale faster than ever before while changing as many peopleโ€™s lives as possible. The main verticals we service are in the online, digital marketing based community with companies that have educational programs that teach high paying skill sets which is referred to as โ€œalternative education.โ€ We sell a range of transformative programs and packages including everything from business consulting programs, to programs that teach people how to invest in real estate, learn mergers and acquisitions and many many more. The world is changing and so is the education space with college application and admission rates down significantly. Bespoke alternative education is a multi billion dollar a year industry and growing, and you can be a part of the gold rush. We believe peopleโ€™s dream lives are just on the other side of receiving the right information- weโ€™re responsible for getting that to them.

Position Overview:

Weโ€™re looking for high output, sales driven individuals that wake up grateful and motivated to fill up our closerโ€™s calendars with highly qualified sales appointments, and are addicted to chasing the rush of the deal. Although this role requires lots of outbound dialing (to warm leads that have opted in to learn more about our programs), there are also inbound calls that will need to be screened & qualified while amplifying interest in our offers. This role as a sales development representative will primarily consist of calling leads in our database, generating interest in our programs, and creating revenue driven opportunities by setting qualified sales appointments for closers. If you are a self-motivated and growth-driven individual, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.

  • Base to compensate for your time, commissions to compensate for your results

  • $10-15k average deal value

  • Engage in question led discovery dialogue to identify challenges, pain points, and gaps that create the need, desire, & urgency for WFS offers.

  • Build relationships with leads, using a consultative sales approach to understand their goals, objectives, and dominant buying motives.
