Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 months
Job Description:
This Virtual Command Center (VCC) dashboard will be designed to improve speed to resolve for identified and/or emerging issues that may impact center productivity and VCC will largely focus on monitoring, reporting and analysis of the physical aspects of the center. The monitoring will include a) center connectivity / network and associated devices; b) in-center donor processing flows, c) additional inputs to be confirmed that will enable visibility and action at the aggregate or center level.
VCC must provide real-time insights to network/device availability to reduce production impact (network related outages) and enhance plasma collection efficiency. The dashboard must create a foundation of data analytics in support of plasma collection & yield measurement & optimization. Develop a dashboard that captures data within a plasma center, displays high level KPIs and shows analytics data. Key requirements are:
a. Two full stack engineers with the expertise to develop responsive dashboards in React, and with expertise in Java / Spring framework to develop robust and scalable microservices.
b. HTML/CSS/JavaScript expertise to transform high fidelity mockups into UI components.
c. React / Next.js framework for UI development and service integration.
d. CI/CD and DevOps experience - building robust and secure pipelines for seamless deployment.
e. Deploying the application to an AWS instance and infrastructure support.
f. Gitlab repository management experience
Build the UI [WACU3] [MJU4] as per the designs, tie into production APIs which include but are not limited to the Donor Management System (DMS)[WACU5] [MJU6] for donor data, ServiceNow for P1 and P2 ticket visibility, Cisco Thousand Eyes for additional network visibility, MuleSoft as the API integration layer for plasma collection metrics and center floor summary metrics, and Thing Worx UI as the plasma center digital twin equivalent. Develop and deploy the web app, connect current Plasma data sources into VCC, and improve reliability and performance.
Important, needs someone with previous experience in scalable dashboards and they can speak to it, UI/React but full stack experience to well round the team, NEW development and redesign efforts, maintain on cloud (aws), involved in API's, devops, and SQL.
Background on position
  • To develop live dashboard for CSL leadership.
  • Track key metrics from dashboard, operations, how doing in different centers
  • Reports for leadership, division managers, plasma center managers.
  • Rule based will collect metrics e.g. uptime of center.
    --Lots of other metrics (may already be in relationship in other databases) may need to calculate other metrics.
  • Build scalable, resilient dashboard driving end to end
  • New development (did POC a version 1) pivoting from scratch redesign look and feel.
  • Deploy and maintain on the cloud
  • Interface with Relational databases
  • Backend not set up yet. Will involve API figuring out data sources.
  • Current team: Team size: 5 -8 people. Proposing an agile team have PO, Designer and backend
