Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a work-life balance. We offer flexibility in scheduling, enabling you to design your work hours around your lifestyle. This offers the opportunity for our counselors to define a work schedule that best suits their needs, whether it be full-time (over 30 hours/week) or part-time (over 5 hours/week).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ethical and empathetic mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a warm and safe environment for clients.
• Perform ongoing assessments of client mental health statuses and develop tailored treatment plans to address their unique needs.
• Facilitate the growth of essential coping mechanisms, problem-solving strategies, and strong communication skills among clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation while minimizing paperwork to allow more focus on patient care.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans for each individual.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on working with low-acuity adults who seek to improve their mental health and quality of life. Our target demographic includes individuals dealing with anxiety, mild depression, stress management challenges, and life transitions. We strive to create a supportive environment that fosters growth and healing through virtual therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active, independent licensure in the state of Texas as either an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Proven track record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enhance client connections, along with strong proficiency in technology for virtual counseling.
• A stable broadband internet connection to facilitate seamless video communications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a remote capacity or online therapy is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges and advantages it presents.
• Previous experience working with low-acuity adults or in a community health setting would be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
