Job description

Seeking a mid-level Full Stack Application Developer to support enterprise Supply Chain and Logistics digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on building scalable, cloud-native applications using AWS, modern front-end frameworks, Python services, and enterprise integration patterns. The position also contributes to architecture decisions, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code within an Agile environment.
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid Remote - onsite a minimum of 3 days per week)
Duration: 7 months
Pay rate: $40
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support full-stack, cloud-native applications using AWS services
  • Design scalable, high-performance architectures for enterprise supply chain solutions
  • Build Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools
  • Develop front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular preferred)
  • Build and maintain Python-based back-end services
  • Design and optimize SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab Runner)
  • Support SAP/ERP integrations across enterprise systems
  • Ensure application uptime, reliability, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT, PMO, and business stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to development teams
  • Maintain strong technical documentation standards
Required Skills
  • AWS cloud architecture and services (including cost optimization)
  • Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent)
  • JavaScript front-end development (React or Angular preferred)
  • Python development
  • SQL databases and optimization
  • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Runner)
  • Docker and containerization (ECS preferred)
  • Networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, DMZs)

Required Experience
  • 3+ years of application or software development experience
  • Full-stack development in cloud environments
  • Enterprise integration experience (SAP/ERP systems)
  • Production support experience emphasizing reliability and uptime
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Technical mentoring or knowledge transfer experience
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
