Job description

Title: Senior Full Stack AI Engineer Remote Role Overview Build and scale AI-driven workflow and automation systems from the ground up Architect backend services and integrate machine learning capabilities into production Translate ambiguous product goals into scalable technical solutions Operate as a hands-on engineer while influencing technical direction Provide guidance and oversight to a distributed engineering team Required 7+ years of backend development experience with a modern server-side stack Strong proficiency in at least one additional language used in data or AI systems Experience deploying LLMs or machine learning models into production environments Familiarity with AI-driven workflows, agent-based systems, or automation pipelines Experience working within cloud infrastructure environments Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage settings with minimal structure Demonstrated ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving ability Experience leading or managing 5+ engineers Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
