The role of the Licensed Mental Health Counselor is carried out entirely in a remote setting, enabling you to engage with a diverse range of clients from the comfort of your own home. • Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients’ mental health and well-being, utilizing validated methods to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and best suit the client’s unique circumstances and goals.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth formats, maintaining a therapeutic alliance and fostering open communication.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that clients remain engaged and motivated throughout their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our clinic to coordinate care and share insights regarding clients’ treatment.
• Document all clinical interactions and maintain detailed records in accordance with state regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and organizational policies.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and couples, who are navigating a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their unique paths to recovery and promoting their overall well-being.

• Active licensure as a mental health clinician (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; candidates with a Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, or Social Work are highly preferred.
• Strong treatment planning skills and ability to navigate various therapeutic modalities.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective documentation and client interactions.
• Experience conducting virtual therapy sessions and familiarity with telehealth tools is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling and psychotherapy, specifically working with adolescents and adults.
• Prior involvement in a telehealth setting will be beneficial but not essential.
