Key Qualifications:


  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2-5+ years of software engineering and/or work-related industry experience.
  • Previous success developing and shipping a large-scale web application with a user-empathetic mindset.
  • Skilled at building user-facing applications and supporting systems and libraries on web and/or desktop. Able to work with Python, Flask, Go, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, Java, RxJava, MySQL, AWS, ExpressJS, React, Node and Kafka.
  • Interest crypto and blockchain a plus.
  • Able to write high-quality, well-tested, functional, observable code that runs smoothly in production.
  • Experienced in shipping high-quality, complex apps to end-users.
  • Strong self-management, sense of ownership, and organization with the ability to weigh trade-offs and focus on value delivery.
  • Experienced at working in a highly regulated industry such as finance or healthcare.
