FLiiP

Job description

About FLiiP:

FLiiP is on a mission to modernize the fitness industry through our all-in-one SaaS platform. We help commercial gyms and multi-location operators streamline their operations, increase member retention, and unlock smarter growth across the entire member journey. Backed by leading investors and part of the Google for Startups Accelerator, we're scaling rapidly across North America.

At FLiiP, we believe that content isn't just part of marketing-it's the front line of growth. In today's GTM landscape, content needs to move fast, deliver value, and punch above its weight. We expect our marketers to think like builders and operate with leverage. That means embracing AI-native tools and workflows to go from idea to output faster, run smarter content experiments, and create content that actually drives business outcomes.

Role Overview:

We're hiring a Content Marketing Manager-a full-stack content creator and strategist who can lead our content engine from top to bottom. You'll be FLiiP's first dedicated content hire, responsible for setting the strategy, producing content across multiple formats, and building a repeatable system that scales.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll work closely with the CGO, growth team, and subject matter experts (like gym owners, sales leaders, and product managers) to create content that speaks to our ICP: commercial gym operators in the U.S. and Canada. You'll also own FLiiP's marketing website and blog-making sure content not only performs, but gets seen.

This is a 100% remote role, based in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive FLiiP's content strategy across all channels and funnel stages, including editorial calendars, content pillars, and messaging frameworks aligned with GTM priorities and ICP targeting
  • Partner with Product and PMM to plan and execute content for every product launch, from announcement copy and feature pages to email sequences and social campaigns
  • Own the copy and content strategy for marketing landing pages, writing, testing, and iterating on messaging, CTAs, and positioning to improve conversion rates across paid and organic traffic
  • Manage FLiiP's content engine end-to-end, from ideation to distribution, across awareness, pipeline, and retention stages
  • Create compelling content across blog posts, LinkedIn, video scripts, customer stories, guides, email sequences, and sales enablement, adapting tone and format to audience and channel
  • Launch content campaigns with clear hypotheses and measurable goals, analyze performance, extract learnings, and move in sprints, not just calendars
  • Manage and update FLiiP's marketing website and blog (WordPress), including content publishing, page layout, SEO optimization, and HubSpot integrations for forms and automation
  • Own SEO and AEO strategy, optimize content for both traditional search and AI-powered answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews), ensuring FLiiP appears in the answers and citations that buyers are increasingly relying on
  • Conduct keyword and question research to structure content in ways that get picked up by LLMs and answer engines, building long-term discoverability across both search and AI discovery surfaces
  • Use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, Descript, Runway, and Typeframes to scale output without sacrificing quality, and build repeatable AI-augmented workflows
  • Work closely with design, growth, sales, and product marketing to align messaging and deliver content that moves the needle at every stage of the funnel

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in content marketing or content creation preferably in a fast-moving B2B SaaS or startup environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing content strategies that support growth, demand gen, and thought leadership.
  • Hands-on experience creating content across multiple formats: written, short-form, social, email, and video.
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress and HubSpot, including CMS, blog publishing, form setup, and basic site updates.
  • Comfortable using AI tools as creative and execution accelerators. You've likely tried and tested platforms like ChatGPT, Descript, Jasper, and Notion AI-and know how to integrate them into your daily workflow.
  • A strong portfolio of content that shows clarity, structure, creativity, and relevance to an ICP or market segment.
  • Operates like an owner-proactive, self-managing, and motivated by impact.
  • Strong collaboration skills-comfortable working with leadership, subject matter experts, and peers across departments.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience marketing to small business owners or operators (e.g., gyms, fitness studios, franchises)
  • Familiarity with performance content and writing for conversion
  • Experience managing a brand voice across written and video formats

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • 100% remote-first work (Canada-based role)
  • Health & Insurance Benefits: FLiiP covers 50% of group plan premiums
  • A fast-moving, execution-first culture where experiments are welcomed and speed is celebrated
  • A high-leverage role with full ownership of your stack, strategy, and roadmap
  • A tight-knit team, direct collaboration with executive leadership, and the chance to shape a category-defining product

If you're a content operator who loves building from zero, experimenting with new formats, and using AI tools to work faster and smarter, we'd love to hear from you!
