Work Environment

This position is fully remote, enabling our therapists to engage with clients flexibly while maintaining a strong sense of connection within our virtual team. Although therapists have the autonomy to manage their schedules, they are supported by full administrative assistance and a collegial environment that prioritizes collaboration and communication. The outpatient office setting is designed to ensure effective service delivery without the constraints of traditional institutional roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly supervision sessions for practicum students pursuing clinical licensure or currently enrolled in Master’s programs, guiding their professional development and clinical skills.
• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy services tailored to individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based practices to meet diverse therapeutic needs.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in the development of personalized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with best practices and the specific needs of each client.
• Maintain meticulous client records and documentation which capture therapeutic progress and comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay abreast of current research, emerging therapeutic modalities, and best practices to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Amber's Best Health and Wellness, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. We prioritize a client-centered approach, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are culturally sensitive and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual or family unit.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a related field, such as Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
• A valid state license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R) for the practice of mental health therapy.
• Professional liability insurance to ensure protection and security in clinical practice.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating clinical competence.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience supervising practicum students or providing clinical training will be given strong preference. Familiarity with digital therapy platforms and methodologies is also an asset, as our practice embraces technology to enhance client engagement and service delivery.
