This position is fully remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients. • Conduct thorough assessments and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Collaborate with the clinical team in developing pre-crisis and crisis management plans, including behavioral guidelines and risk assessments.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as dictated by clinical protocols, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Document all client interactions and treatment interventions promptly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and training sessions to share insights and strategies that enhance client outcomes.
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring our practices meet and exceed industry standards.

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population facing various emotional, mental, and behavioral challenges. This includes individuals dealing with substance use disorders, those experiencing developmental disabilities, and clients recovering from brain injuries. Your ability to build trust and rapport will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their journeys toward recovery and wellness.

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is mandatory.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is required prior to employment.
• Must possess eligibility for licensure in accordance with state regulations.
• A valid driver's license in good standing is necessary for occasional outreach activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to establish positive client relationships and document care effectively.
• Excellent listening skills combined with empathy and the ability to guide clients through challenges.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases and documentation.

• Prior experience in telehealth or remote counseling is highly valued.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing.
• Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team setting to enhance patient care.
