Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Copywriter based in Netherlands.

As a Copywriter, you will become the guardian of editorial quality for a fast-growing AI-powered digital product.
You will review, rewrite, and refine high volumes of AI-generated content across product experiences, websites, acquisition funnels, and emails.
Your role combines editorial excellence with conversion-focused writing, ensuring every message feels clear, natural, human, and purposeful.
You will also work upstream by improving prompts and content-generation workflows to raise quality at the source.
Over time, you will define and establish a consistent French and English tone of voice across the entire customer experience.
Working directly with product and engineering teams, you will help shape the systems and processes that make content production scalable.
This is a high-ownership, founding opportunity where your writing can directly influence product clarity, user experience, conversion, and business growth.

Accountabilities
  • Proofread, correct, edit, and rewrite AI-generated courses and micro-learning modules in French and English.
  • Act as the final editorial quality filter, ensuring content meets high standards before publication.
  • Improve AI-generated content by refining generation instructions, prompts, and editorial workflows.
  • Write and optimize conversational acquisition funnels with a strong understanding of user psychology and natural language.
  • Review and improve website copy and email content through both an editorial and conversion-focused lens.
  • Analyze content performance and user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement, including conversion rates and drop-off points.
  • Define, document, and maintain a distinctive French and English tone of voice aligned with target users.
  • Apply the brand voice consistently across product content, websites, emails, acquisition funnels, and other customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and improve content generation, review, and publishing pipelines.
  • Work with product and design teams to develop tools and workflows that improve the efficiency and quality of your work.
  • Prioritize and manage a substantial content backlog while maintaining speed and editorial rigor.
  • Take ownership of the content function and establish effective working processes within a lean, early-stage environment.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in conversion copywriting, UX writing, content marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience working with SaaS startups, subscription products, B2C digital products, or other fast-moving technology businesses.
  • Proven experience editing, reviewing, or improving AI-generated content.
  • Strong experience with acquisition funnels, conversion-focused messaging, and email marketing.
  • Exceptional French and English writing skills, with native or near-native written proficiency in both languages.
  • Strong conversion copywriting capabilities across advertisements, landing pages, websites, funnels, and emails.
  • Solid UX writing skills and an ability to make complex information clear, intuitive, and engaging.
  • Practical experience prompting and working with large language models and generative AI tools.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and their application to digital content.
  • Strong user empathy, with the ability to write from the perspective of the person reading rather than from the writer's perspective.
  • Strong product sense and the ability to understand how language influences user experience and behavior.
  • Exceptional editorial rigor and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to challenge existing choices, identify weaknesses, and proactively propose better alternatives.
  • High level of autonomy and comfort working in a lean structure where processes are still being established.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality work at speed.
  • French proficiency at native or C2 level.
  • English proficiency at C1-C2 level, with genuinely strong written English required.
Benefits
  • Freelance, full-time engagement.
  • 100% remote work from anywhere in Europe.
  • Flexible working arrangements and autonomy over how you organize your work.
  • Opportunity to take on a founding role and define the editorial identity of a product from an early stage.
  • Direct and measurable impact on product clarity, user experience, conversion, and business performance.
  • Broad scope spanning product content, acquisition, UX writing, brand voice, website, and email.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, copywriting, and scalable content production.
  • Direct access to the product founder and fast decision-making with minimal organizational layers.
  • Opportunity to shape AI-powered content generation and editorial review workflows.
  • Professional development and learning opportunities in a rapidly evolving SaaS environment.
  • Flexible vacation policy designed around trust and individual needs.
  • Opportunity to work remotely from another time zone for up to one month.
  • Two company-wide team retreats per year.
  • An autonomous, collaborative, and results-oriented remote culture.
  • Potential for significant professional growth as the product and broader business continue to scale.
