The Manager - Traffic leads and manages the Traffic Coordinators , overseeing the full lifecycle of marketing projects requested of the Creative Services team. This role works closely with Traffic Coordinators, Growth Strategy Managers, Member Communication Managers, members of the Creative Services team and the Creative Director to ensure projects are executed consistently, on time, and at a high standard. The Traffic Manager is responsible for resource allocation pipeline, project management, process optimization, maintains project alignment across stakeholders and provides timely reporting - including development of Workfront dashboards to support Growth, Member Communications, Clinical and Shared Services workflow. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership with expert-level technical acumen, is accountable and has mastery of team workflow, has exceptional organizational skills, and excels at mapping processes, and a background in working with creative teams.SKILLS

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads, mentors, and manages team, providing guidance, support, and professional development for traffic, quality, and other creative operations functions.
  • Oversees intake, scoping, scheduling, and delivery of all marketing projects for the Creative Services team. Collaborates with Growth Strategy Managers, Member Communication Managers, and Creative Services team members to clarify project objectives, requirements, and timelines.
  • Provides expert-level technical acumen/mastery of Creative Services workflow and has accountability of process mapping and reporting across multiple workstreams.
  • Assigns project personnel and allocates resources, balancing workload, and skill alignment across the team.
  • Ensures proofing review cycles are executed accurately and efficiently, facilitating stakeholder approvals.
  • Develops and maintains reports and dashboards to provide visibility into project and campaign status, team workload, operational performance and works to solution new dashboards as needed; reporting across multiple workstreams.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and implements best practices to optimize workflow and project outcomes.
  • Leads cross-functional Traffic meetings with requesters of work to ensure Creative Services projects remain on track, facilitating communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Protect the team from burnout by managing rush requests and negotiating tradeoffs.
  • Supports consistent and high-quality execution of all marketing deliverables, maintaining accountability for timely and accurate delivery.
  • Source and onboard freelancers with creative leadership and procurement where needed and manage resourcing schedule of freelancers, their deliverables, and deadlines to integrate with internal workflows.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with creative teams; partnering with designers and copywriters to generate highvolume work in a regulated environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with proven leadership, accountability and people management skills, with experience steering teams in a creative or marketing environment.
  • Strong organizational abilities, mastery of workflow with the capacity to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and details simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration and alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and process mapping skills with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive accountability for results.
  • Expert-level/super user and consultant of project management systems/platforms, like Workfront
  • Healthcare experience preferred

Work-at-home requirements

  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.

  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.

  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms

  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The target hiring range for this position is $100,430 - $127,050 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $141,570 USD. While initial compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications, there is a path to work toward this top rate through performance and continued growth within the organization.
