Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in full-stack or backend development to join our dynamic team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role focuses on creating robust, scalable, and secure data-driven applications within cloud environments. Ideal candidates demonstrate a deep commitment to software quality, problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to integrate complex enterprise systems effectively. This position plays a crucial role in advancing our technology goals and delivering impactful solutions that drive business success.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade data applications and software solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Design and implement scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and intuitive user-facing applications using modern technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to optimize data ingestion processes, enhance data warehouses, and leverage lakehouse architectures for maximum efficiency.
  • Create applications that empower analytics, reporting, workflow automation, and enable machine learning integration to support informed decision-making.
  • Seamlessly integrate new and existing solutions with enterprise resource planning (ERP), human resources information systems (HRIS), customer relationship management (CRM), and financial platforms.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on enterprise-grade application development.
  • Proven expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures that support complex business workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience developing cloud-native applications on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, with an emphasis on scalability and security.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relational database systems including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and preferred experience with NoSQL databases.
