Position Summary:
Applicants for this position are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately. Employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (example: H-1B visa) for this role.
Provides guidance and direction to a project team of individuals responsible for the review of highly complex insurance product, underwriting and related practices that measure product performance, underwriting practices, quality controls and monitor the activities of underwriting vendors to ensure adherence to corporate standards for a particular line of business and ability to achieve optimal results from a profitability standpoint. Make recommendations to increase profitability. Ensures the timely and accurate completion of assigned individual and team tasks. Develops scope and identify next steps for assigned projects. Works with Management to develop reporting and analytics. Works with the team to identify opportunities to streamline workflow and processes utilizing GCP, Excel and their knowledge of how data flows. Collaborates with field management and the team to build and enhance dashboards. Must understand the data structure and data availability in order to advise on capabilities.
Summarizes findings at an agent level and presents findings to management. Analyzes cost/benefit across Product features & Underwriting Practices to ensure or increase optimization of profitability. Participates in meetings with agents & managers to share results. Works in conjunction with Internal Audit on confidential and/or special projects and employee investigations. Conducts analyses to identify underlying trends and improvement opportunities and provides results and recommendations to management. Develops policies and procedures relative to the audit process as indicated. Reviews Underwriting reporting budget and analyzes cost-benefit. Builds trials to evaluates opportunities for new vendor solutions to assess cost/benefit and potential to increase optimization across Product & Underwriting. May collaborate directly with vendors. Performs special projects as requested and may provide guidance & direction for others working on the project.

Work Environment:
This position works from a home office location. Depending on the role, some employees may be required to come into the office, at a minimum, for important departmental meetings or team building events.

Compensation
Project Leader will earn a competitive salary of $85,000 - $100,000 annually with annual bonus potential based on performance.

  • Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month
