Work Environment

This role is situated within a community health clinic framework, utilizing remote capabilities to engage with students and staff effectively. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends as necessary to meet the school’s operational needs. Some on-call availability may also be required for crisis intervention. This flexible setting allows you to closely engage with the school community while maintaining a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, examining students’ personal histories, current challenges, and risk factors to develop tailored support plans that foster their academic and emotional success.
  • Collaborate with students and their families to devise and implement effective treatment plans that incorporate strategies for emotional regulation, coping skills, and conflict resolution.
  • Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy, utilizing methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
  • Facilitate workshops and support groups that empower students with knowledge and skills to enhance their mental health and foster interpersonal relationships.
  • Work closely with a network of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring cohesive care that addresses diverse mental health needs.
  • Manage crisis situations by providing immediate support and employing de-escalation techniques, including making appropriate referrals when higher levels of care are necessary.
  • Educate students and their families about mental health issues and resources, promoting understanding and engagement in therapeutic processes.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
