• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by clients.
• Formulate individualized service plans that outline clients’ goals and interventions, and regularly monitor their progress.
• Provide therapeutic counseling and emotional support, enabling individuals and families to navigate and overcome their specific life challenges.
• Engage in collaborative planning with clients to connect them to essential community resources and support services.
• Carry out crisis intervention and risk assessments, developing safety plans when necessary to mitigate immediate risks.
• Build and maintain relationships with community agencies to advocate for clients' needs and coordinate services effectively.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of the foundation's services, ensuring broad access for those in need.
• Attend and engage in case conferences and team meetings to share insights, coordinate client strategies, and participate in staff development training.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population experiencing significant socio-economic challenges, including but not limited to homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues. You will interact with individuals and families from various backgrounds, requiring a high degree of cultural competence and empathy. Your efforts will not only focus on immediate relief but also on empowering clients through education, resources, and emotional support.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, social justice issues, and community resource navigation.
• Demonstrated skill in effective communication and problem-solving, particularly in high-stress situations.

• Prior experience working in a social service agency or similar setting is highly desirable.
• Background in crisis management and intervention strategies will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with community resources in the Grand Prairie area and broader Texas landscape is a plus.
