• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and comprehensive mental health evaluations that assess clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological states.
• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans that consider the unique needs of clients and their families.
• Facilitate engaging and productive individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Follow up on clients who have been admitted to the hospital, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing support for their mental health journeys.
• Provide guidance to family members and caregivers, assisting them in navigating mental health challenges and promoting recovery.

At Forest View Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a wide range of patients, including adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our clinic emphasizes a holistic, individualized approach to treatment, striving to empower clients through skill development, emotional regulation, and resilience-building strategies.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required for this position.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong proficiency in using EHR systems, including AVATAR, for managing client documentation and treatment plans.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on maintaining clarity and empathetic engagement with clients.

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor with demonstrated clinical skills in various therapeutic settings.
• Experience addressing comorbid conditions, including addiction disorders and underlying physical health issues.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in mental health and psychotherapy practices as established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects, enabling informed discussions with clients.
