Forest View Psychotherapy Center is seeking a talented and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position, allowing for flexible work arrangements that contribute to a healthy work-life balance. Our virtual workspace is built on collaboration, support, and shared goals. You will have the tools and platforms needed to conduct therapy sessions, manage patient records, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams effectively. As a member of our telehealth team, you will engage with clients using secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, formulate clinical diagnoses, and establish collaborative treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy utilizing clinically effective and evidence-based methodologies tailored to client-specific needs.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients during acute mental health crises, ensuring safety and stabilization.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists and social workers to provide well-rounded care to clients.
• Engage in outreach and education efforts to inform clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment processes, and available community resources.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to remain current with best practices in the field of mental health therapy.

Your clientele will encompass a broad spectrum of individuals including those facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma recovery, and other mental health disorders. You will tailor your therapeutic interventions to suit diverse cultural backgrounds and unique life experiences, helping clients establish coping strategies and drive recovery progress.

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the forms of LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related mental health field is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for effective client engagement and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work both independently and as an integrated member of a remote team.
• Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and professional conduct in therapy practices.

• Experience in a telehealth setting is preferred to facilitate smooth adaptation to remote practices.
• Prior involvement with diverse populations and presenting issues in mental health treatment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
