What is a remote forensic social worker?

A Remote Forensic Social Worker assesses and supports individuals involved in the legal system, such as victims, offenders, or families, while working from a remote location. They provide expert evaluations, case management, and advocacy in legal proceedings. Their work often involves collaborating with attorneys, courts, and other professionals to ensure fair treatment and proper social support. This role requires knowledge of both social work principles and the legal system. Remote forensic social workers use virtual tools to conduct assessments, interviews, and consultations while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote forensic social worker?
