Overview
Join Our Team as a Remote RN Clinical Supervisor
We are looking for strong, compassionate clinical leaders to join our hospice team who are committed to creating meaningful patient experiences while supporting clinical excellence behind the scenes. As a Remote RN Clinical Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in providing remote clinical oversight and supervisory support to hospice branch operations. This position focuses on clinical documentation quality, regulatory compliance, staff development, and workflow efficiency to ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant patient care. You'll serve as a trusted clinical resource for interdisciplinary teams, helping guide patient care delivery while strengthening staff engagement, accountability, and performance. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight & Coordination
  • Provide remote clinical supervision and direction to interdisciplinary hospice teams and office staff.
  • Ensure plans of care are accurate, compliant, and aligned with physician orders and hospice regulations.
  • Coordinate patient referrals, admissions, recertifications, physician orders, and staffing assignments.
  • Facilitate admission reviews and case management oversight for assigned patient populations.
  • Ensure assessment visits are completed within required time frames.

Supervision & Staff Support
  • Supervise, coach, and support clinical staff to ensure quality and continuity of care.
  • Provide guidance on patient care procedures, documentation standards, and hospice eligibility criteria.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing clinical support.
  • Assist with staff orientation, training, and ongoing education to meet regulatory and agency requirements.

Regulatory & Compliance
  • Promote compliance with state licensure, Medicare certification, and third-party payer requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local hospice regulations.
  • Support audits, surveys, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, orders, and records processing.

Quality & Performance Improvement
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, including documentation review and data collection.
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.
  • Assist with medical community education and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Leadership & Professional Development
  • Provide leadership to clinical and administrative staff.

Qualifications
  • A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred). Current state license as a registered nurse.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience as a registered nurse in an appropriate clinical care setting, home health, or hospice environment (preferred).
  • Skills: Strong clinical knowledge of hospice nursing standards and practices. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment. Strong documentation, compliance, and workflow management skills.
  • Required: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance. Meets all agency health screening and testing requirements.
