Job Summary:
The Arizona Attorney General's Office ("AGO") seeks motivated Special Agents to be assigned to the Criminal Division/Special Investigations Section. Units within the Special Investigations Section supported by Special Agents include Major Fraud, Health Care Fraud, Consumer Fraud, and Financial Crimes. Applicants must be team driven and able to collaborate with prosecuting attorneys and federal and state agencies.
As a Special Agent in the Organized Retail Theft Unit, an ideal applicant will have proactive investigative experience including, the use of pole-cams, GPS trackers, cell phone ping orders, cell phone extraction and analysist and Title III wiretap affidavit writing experience.
Special Agents in the Elder Abuse Unit will facilitate protecting Arizona seniors from abuse and exploitation through the investigation of Cryptocurrency scams, financial frauds, homicides, and abuse/neglect. Many cases will work side by side with Adult Protective Services, and local and Federal financial task forces. An ideal candidate will possess experience in these areas.
Applicants for this Tobacco Enforcement Unit (TEU) position should possess a thorough understanding of Arizona laws as they pertain to tobacco and vapor product sales. This position requires the ability to work as a team consisting of federal, state, local and school officials, as well as direct supervision of undercover youth volunteers from across the state. The TEU Special Agent is responsible for recruitment and training of the UC volunteers, and must exhibit a strong ability to assess each inspection site for issues of officer safety to ensure the wellbeing of the inspection team. Inspections are conducted in all fifteen (15) Arizona counties and may require extensive travel and occasional overnight stays. An understanding of specialized equipment used in covert operations would be beneficial but not required.

• Travel is required for this position. A valid Arizona Driver's License is required, along with consent to have your driving record run periodically.
