As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify their individual therapeutic needs.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal empowerment.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring best practices are followed.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to support patients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering healing and growth.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, integrated care for patients.
• Offering crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your expertise to stabilize and guide patients through acute distress.
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the range of available support resources.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.
• Staying current with the latest research and developments in trauma therapy, integrating emerging best practices into your clinical work.

This role will primarily involve working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including adults suffering from PTSD, complexities of trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a pivotal role in supporting clients as they navigate their recovery journeys, providing therapeutic modalities designed to foster resilience and personal growth. Your empathetic approach will help build trust and rapport, ensuring clients feel safe and supported as they face their challenges.

To excel in this position, the following qualifications are necessary:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure in Washington as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and resilience-building strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with standard computer applications.
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting, promoting collaborative patient care.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates possessing strong backgrounds in specialized trauma-focused therapies will be highly regarded. Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic approaches and practices will further enhance your capability to make impactful contributions.
