Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic is seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our innovative remote team. • Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients either in their homes or through teletherapy, focusing on personalized treatment plans that address behavioral concerns.
• Implement evidence-based strategies for anger management, coping skills, and social skills development, essential for reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and aggression.
• Empower caregivers by enhancing their decision-making skills through educational support, equipping them to tackle challenges related to their children's behaviors.
• Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals in multidisciplinary settings to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation including intake assessments, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and timelines.
• Participate in monthly team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for program improvement and client management strategies.

This position primarily focuses on teens and children aged 3 to 20 dealing with a range of challenges associated with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Therapists will have the opportunity to work closely with families, understanding their unique dynamics and developing tailored intervention strategies that aim to empower both parents and children in their journey towards better mental health.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Psychology, or related fields is required.
• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is mandatory.
• A minimum availability of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with occasional weekend flexibility.
• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable to serve our diverse client base.

• Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior support and interventions.
• Prior experience working with children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle is necessary for home visits and client transport.
• Candidates must pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure the safety of our vulnerable clientele.
