Crystal Lake Families & Kids Services is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) to join our team in Perry Hall, Maryland. In this position, counselors will utilize their clinical skills to provide essential mental health support to individuals and families through remote consultations from our outpatient office. This role is performed in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in delivering care to our patients while maintaining a strong connection with team members. Our outpatient facility is equipped with the necessary tools and support to help counselors perform their duties effectively. Counselors will benefit from a collaborative atmosphere, engaging with the primary care team to optimize patient care.

• Conduct thorough patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations, and provide recommendations to the primary care provider regarding treatment goals.
• Deliver brief, focused interventions tailored to individuals in need of mental health support, ensuring a personal and attentive approach to each case.
• Consult with primary care providers to determine the appropriate settings for patient care, identifying those requiring specialty mental health services.
• Monitor patient progress and engage in follow-up to assess efficacy of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist patients in developing relapse prevention plans and strategies for maintaining stable functioning.
• Identify and address "at-risk" patients, creating prevention strategies in alignment with their specific needs.
• Document progress and insights in patient treatment charts, ensuring comprehensive records that inform ongoing care strategies.
• Provide self-management skills and educational resources to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, sharing insights to improve service delivery and health outcomes.
• Maintain familiarity with community resources and assist patients in accessing additional support services as needed.
• Comply with the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals and uphold high standards of confidentiality and respect.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.

Our patient population includes children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds who face a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
• Proficient knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment planning methodologies, including DSM-IV diagnoses and psychotherapeutic techniques.
• Capability to develop trusting relationships with patients and effectively communicate treatment strategies.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accurate clinical records.
• Experience in multidisciplinary team settings and a commitment to cooperative teamwork.

• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with instructional methodologies focused on patient engagement and recovery.
• Previous experience working with children and families in a counseling capacity.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 87,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
