What We're Looking For

As we continue to scale our presence across public safety, defense, and enterprise markets, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define and lead the next phase of our technology evolution.


This is a strategic, executive-level role responsible for shaping how PEAKE brings connectivity solutions to market, turning complex technologies into repeatable, scalable, revenue-generating offerings.You will partner directly with the President and executive team to align technology, operations, and growth strategy.

What You'll Do

Product Testing & Validation

  • Design and execute COTS hardware testing methodology across PEAKE's connectivity product portfolio
  • Develop standardized test plans, pass/fail criteria, and interoperability matrices for multi-WAN and bonded connectivity configurations
  • Document test results in repeatable, auditable formats suitable for government sales support

Kit Integration

  • Define and build kit Bill of Materials (BOMs) for deployable connectivity solutions across public safety use cases (in-vehicle, portable, fixed-site, command)
  • Develop assembly and staging SOPs that can be executed by PEAKE field technicians without engineering oversight
  • Establish quality control checkpoints and acceptance criteria for kit production

First Article Development

  • Lead first article build process for each new kit configuration - from component selection through documented gold-standard reference unit
  • Coordinate with PEAKE engineering and operations teams to ensure first article packages are production-ready and transferable

GTM Documentation

  • Produce or direct creation of solution data sheets, deployment guides, and proposal-ready technical content for each product line and kit
  • Translate technical configurations into customer-facing language appropriate for SLED and public safety audiences
  • Build and maintain a product documentation library that supports BD, sales, and proposal teams

Training

  • Develop internal technical training for PEAKE field and NOC teams on validated product configurations
  • Create customer-facing deployment and operations guides for agency end users
  • Establish a training cadence that keeps pace with new product additions and configuration updates

Technical Strategy & Roadmap

  • Assess PEAKE's current and pipeline product portfolio and recommend prioritization for testing, kit development, and documentation based on revenue potential and customer demand
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for fit within PEAKE's managed services model
  • Serve as technical advisor to the President and leadership team on product positioning, vendor relationships, and capability gaps

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with BD/Sales to ensure technical documentation supports active proposals and RFP responses
  • Interface with Director of Operations to integrate product development workflows into PEAKE's operational systems (Monday.com, ProSupport NOC)
  • Provide technical input on CaaS/EaaS financial modeling and service packaging


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in networking, telecommunications, or connectivity solutions, with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Proven experience defining and executing technology strategy in a services or integration environment
  • Deep expertise in multi-WAN, bonded connectivity, and network infrastructure solutions
  • Experience supporting public sector, SLED, or DoD customers strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into scalable products and revenue-generating solutions
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders


Clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD security clearance required


Engagement Details

  • Part-time/consultant role with flexible hours (24 hours a week with 8 - 16hrs onsite)
  • Remote with occasional onsite meetings as needed.
  • Compensation commensurate with experience and scope of engagement.
