Freedom Empowerment Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. This full-time role requires a licensed professional (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) who is passionate about providing support and therapy to our youth population. Key Responsibilities
  • Participate actively in team meetings to discuss patient care, share insights, and develop treatment plans.

  • Implement therapeutic interventions based on individual assessments and sociocultural factors influencing the youth population.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of client progress using electronic medical records (EMR), facilitating seamless communication among team members.

  • Maintain a consistent work schedule set forth by your supervisor, ensuring reliable availability for clients.
  • Continuously pursue professional development, obtaining necessary certifications such as CPR and First Aid, and engaging in relevant training to enhance therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve youth clients facing emotional, behavioral, and socio-economic challenges. Your work will involve addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and developmental transitions among adolescents. By focusing on a client-centered approach, you will help empower these young individuals to improve their coping mechanisms and life skills.

Qualifications
  • Active independent license in your state of residence (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, or PsyD) from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in time management to prioritize tasks efficiently.
