Job description

About BRINC:
At BRINC, we are redefining public safety with an innovative ecosystem of life-saving tools. Our journey started with the development of drones and ruggedized throw phones, designed to access unsafe areas and establish communication to de-escalate situations. Today, we've expanded into creating and deploying 911 response networks, where drones are dispatched to 911 calls to provide real-time visual data, enhancing safety and enabling de-escalation-focused responses. Our cutting-edge solutions are utilized by over 600 public safety agencies across America and the company has raised over $150M from investors, including Index Ventures, Motorola Solutions, Sam Altman, Dylan Field, Mike Volpe, Alexandr Wang and more. At BRINC, we are committed to recruiting the world's best talent to join us in our mission to support first responders in saving lives.
We are only considering candidates who currently reside in the East, South, and Central regions of the USA.
About this Role:
BRINC is seeking a highly motivated Fire/EMS Account Executive to help expand the adoption of drone technology throughout the fire service. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to fire departments, EMS agencies, USAR teams, HazMat teams, and emergency management organizations, helping them evaluate, implement, and grow public safety UAS programs.
The ideal candidate will have firsthand fire service experience, a strong understanding of public safety drone operations, and a passion for advancing technology that improves firefighter safety and operational effectiveness.
*This position requires heavy travel - minimum 75% of the time
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage relationships with Fire/EMS agencies throughout an assigned territory.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations for command staff, training divisions, operations personnel, and elected officials.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on public safety UAS operations, deployment models, regulatory considerations, and best practices.
  • Work with agencies to develop Drone as First Responder (DFR), HazMat, USAR, wildfire, and emergency response programs.
  • Assist departments in evaluating funding opportunities, budget development, and implementation planning.
  • Collaborate with BRINC product, engineering, customer success, and implementation teams to ensure customer success.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events to promote BRINC solutions and strengthen industry relationships.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of emerging technologies, public safety trends, and the evolving UAS landscape.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in the fire service.
  • Demonstrated experience with public safety UAS operations.
  • Strong understanding of Fire/EMS operations, command structures, and emergency response environments.
  • Passionate about growing drone technology within the fire service.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a large territory.
  • Comfortable engaging with Fire Chiefs, command staff, elected officials, and executive leadership.
  • Able to discuss deployment models, dispatch integration, operational workflows, budgeting, procurement, and agency capabilities.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to build credibility through real-world operational experience.
  • Wildland and/or high-rise fire experience preferred, including an understanding of wildfire operations, incident management, WUI response, and emerging applications for UAS technology in wildfire detection, mapping, and suppression support.
  • Fire service air operations experience.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory minimally 75% of the time

Preferred Skills:
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred
  • Experience developing, managing, or supporting a public safety drone program
  • Sales experience preferred
BRINC Culture Values:
  • Try the hard stuff
  • Be innovative - Invent the future
  • Move fast
  • Listen to end-users
  • Strive for excellence
  • Don't build a dystopia
  • Be frugal
  • Save lives through technology
