Our Lyon design office, specializing in nuclear engineering, designs high-tech structures for large-scale projects.

We are looking for a Technical Reference for Civil Engineering & Nuclear Structure Calculations to support our growth and enhance our expertise.

Reporting to our Head of Civil Engineering and Structures, your mission will be to conduct civil engineering studies of all types of structures in the nuclear sector in France and internationally: New Nuclear (EPR/EPR2, SMR/AMR, export projects), Operating Nuclear Park, Decommissioning, Research Centers and Fuel Cycle, Defense.

Your tasks:

  • Be the technical reference of the design office and ensure the excellence of projects,
  • Intervene and supervise a team on all phases of studies of new or existing structures, from upstream conception to execution,
  • Perform calculations specific to the sizing and justification of structures to be built or renovated (design and execution studies),
  • Develop written and supervise graphic pieces,
  • Manage the interfaces of studies with specialized services (other trades),
  • Ensure client relations (from offer to project) and lead project follow-up meetings,
  • Manage the planning of studies, as well as the control of deadlines and costs,
  • Participate in the development of internal training programs and lead them in the context of team skill enhancement,
  • Participate in the development of the multi-trade technical expertise cell of Ekium nuclear.
  • Participate in financial estimates and the drafting of technical-commercial offers.

Profile

  • Civil Engineer with more than 5 years of successful experience in engineering companies or design offices.
  • Strong mastery of EUROCODES, finite element calculations, and professional software (Robot, Advance, Ansys, code ASTER...).
  • Ideally, knowledge of nuclear standards (RCC-CW, ETC-C, RCC-G).
  • Analytical mind, rigor, and excellent interpersonal skills.
