Empowered Essence Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and driven Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time role. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Client Caseload Management: Maintain an active caseload of clients, developing rapport and fostering positive, therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Ongoing Client Assessment: Conduct regular sessions with clients to evaluate their progress, stability, and treatment needs, and facilitate timely and appropriate discharge when necessary.
• Treatment Plan Development: Collaborate with clients to create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and challenges.
• Document Management: Maintain meticulous records, including documentation of progress notes and updated treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Intake Assessments: Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine clients’ needs and appropriate baseline for treatment.
• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide engaging individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities that align with each client's treatment plan.
• Supervision and Collaboration: Participate in individual supervision sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge while collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive care approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve supporting a diverse clientele encompassing adults, children, and families. The clients we serve face a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. By providing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, you will play a critical role in fostering healing and promoting resilience among those we serve.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• A current, unrestricted, independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience working in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with software systems such as Outlook, RMS systems, and Excel.
• Proven experience in delivering psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Comfort in conducting initial intake assessments and developing treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with the following experience will be considered advantageous:

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team or in collaboration with various healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and methodologies.
• Experience in crisis management and intervention.

Compensation and Benefits
