Work Environment

As a Remote Licensed Professional Counselor, you will enjoy a flexible work environment that prioritizes work-life balance with no evening or weekend shifts. Office hours run Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, allowing you to dedicate your time to client care without the stresses of commuting or office politics. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, building rapport and trust while upholding confidential professional boundaries.
• Conduct initial intake assessments to develop a clear understanding of clients' mental health histories and needs.
• Regularly meet with clients to evaluate therapy progress, discuss any challenges, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment strategies that reflect each client's unique circumstances and goals.
• Maintain detailed, up-to-date documentation and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in individual supervision and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to enhance client care.
• Engage in continuous professional growth and personal development by embracing a growth mindset.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will include individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting post-graduation.
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and active listening skills.

Preferred Experience

While we require a year of clinical experience, those with experience in specific areas such as trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) will be seen as particularly competitive. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation will also enhance your application.
